How to stake

  1. Open our validator's staking page and connect your wallet. Stake LUME
  2. Choose an amount and confirm the delegation in your wallet. The tokens stay in your account; you can undelegate at any time, subject to the chain's unbonding period.
  3. Turn on auto-compounding in REStake: after you grant it permission from your wallet, it claims your rewards and delegates them again. Open REStake

Questions

How long does unbonding take on Lumera?

Undelegating starts the chain's unbonding period, which Lumera governance sets. During it your LUME earn no rewards and cannot be transferred; afterwards they are free in your wallet again.

How do staking rewards accrue?

Rewards accrue with every block in proportion to your stake, minus our commission shown above. They wait in your account until you claim them.

What does non-custodial mean?

Delegating is an on-chain instruction from your own account. Your LUME never leave your wallet; StakerHouse cannot move or withdraw them, and only you can undelegate.

What happens if the validator goes down?

A validator that misses too many blocks in the chain's slashing window is jailed and slashed by the chain. Our monitoring tools alert us to missed blocks. If downtime on our side ever causes a slash, we refund the slashed amount to the affected delegators in full.
