Cosmos Hub upgrade
Upgrade to v28.0.0 at height 32,785,900.
Upgrade height: 32,785,900 (opens in a new tab). Don't upgrade before the chain reaches it.
Manual upgrade
cd $HOME && rm -rf cosmoshub && \
git clone https://github.com/cosmos/gaia.git cosmoshub && cd cosmoshub && \
git fetch --tags && \
git checkout v28.0.0 && \
make build && \
sudo mv build/gaiad $(which gaiad) && \
sudo service cosmoshub restart && \
sudo journalctl -fu cosmoshub -o cat Cosmovisor upgrade
Only if Cosmovisor runs your node: it switches to the new binary at the upgrade height by itself.
cd $HOME && rm -rf cosmoshub && \
git clone https://github.com/cosmos/gaia.git cosmoshub && cd cosmoshub && \
git fetch --tags && \
git checkout v28.0.0 && \
make build && \
mkdir -p $HOME/.gaia/cosmovisor/upgrades/v28.0.0/bin && \
mv build/gaiad $HOME/.gaia/cosmovisor/upgrades/v28.0.0/bin/ If the logs show UPGRADE "v28.0.0" NEEDED at height: 32785900, point Cosmovisor at the new folder:
cd "$HOME/.gaia/cosmovisor" && ln -sfn "upgrades/v28.0.0" current && ls -l current Cosmovisor then runs v28.0.0 as its current release and starts without the error.
