Step 1: Install aria2 and zstd

sudo apt update && sudo apt install aria2 zstd -y

Step 2: Stop the node, back up the validator state and reset

sudo service cosmoshub stop
cp $HOME/.gaia/data/priv_validator_state.json $HOME/.gaia/priv_validator_state.json.backup
gaiad tendermint unsafe-reset-all --home $HOME/.gaia --keep-addr-book

Step 3: Set the database backend

The data opens only with the backend it was written with, pebbledb. Your node binary must be built with support for it.

sed -i -E 's/^db_backend *=.*/db_backend = "pebbledb"/' $HOME/.gaia/config/config.toml
sed -i -E 's/^app-db-backend *=.*/app-db-backend = "pebbledb"/' $HOME/.gaia/config/app.toml

Step 4: Download and extract
